As part of the Government of Alberta’s response to COVID-19, effective 28 March 2020, all non-emergent chiropractic services throughout the province have been suspended. In addition to chiropractic, this suspension applies to dentistry, optometry, massage therapy, physiotherapy, podiatry, acupuncture, and naturopathy.
As such, our clinic is now closed to anything other than what would be considered emergency or urgent care, and we have cancelled all existing appointments. If you consider your condition to be an emergency, please contact us using one of the following methods, and we’ll be in touch with you to determine a course of action:
- Call our clinic at (403) 327-3130. Calls will be forwarded directly to the doctors’ cell phones.
- Email us at southernchiropractic@shaw.ca.
- Text us at (403) 315-3151.
While we recognize the need to reduce the spread of COVID-19, this decision leaves us with mixed feelings. as it puts many of our patients in a difficult position and may add more stress to an already unsettling time. Please know that we’ll do everything we can to assist you all while operating within the current guidelines.
While we cannot see non-emergency patients in person at the clinic, we want you all to know that we most certainly are available to speak with you over the phone or online to discuss ways to help manage things until the clinic is open again. We’ll use “Telehealth” as a virtual consult tool, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us to discuss any concerns that you have.
